Marc Iddings, an experienced and dedicated funeral director, joined the Simpson Funeral Home in 1992. His decision was based upon the institution's well-known and respected status throughout Monaca and Beaver Valley.
A native of Marianna, PA, Marc graduated from Washington & Jefferson College, and later from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Sciences. After spending five years in Philadelphia as a licensed funeral director and advance planning counselor, he assumed ownership of Maxwell Funeral Home in Renovo, PA.
Wanting to be closer to his family, Marc decided to join Harper J. Simpson Funeral Home. Likewise, Harper and his wife, Phyllis, decided to move to Florida to be closer to her family and to pursue other interests. Marc resides in the living quarters of the funeral home to be available to families 24 hours per day.
Marc has been active in community affairs and other organizations. A member of the Monaca-Center Lodge #791, F. & A. M., Marc is involved the ancient accepted Scottish Rite - Harrisburg Consistory and Zembo Shrine, Monaca-Center Lions Club and the Monaca United Methodist Church.
Currently known as the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, Marc stresses the importance of the entire staff's commitment to the ongoing tradition of the funeral home. Marc states, "I simply want people in the community to feel free to call us with any questions they may have." Information will be given with no cost or obligation, and we can assist with every detail in the pre-planning process.

A licensed funeral director, John joined Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services in 2009. A native of Pittsburgh he graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Sciences in 1995 and has actively worked in the funeral industry. John assists our pre-arrangement families.
Married with two children John is looking forward to his first grandson's arrival. |
