He leaves a daughter, Debbie Varavette of New Brighton and a son, Bob Varavette of Hopewell Township. He also has three daughters and a deceased son from a previous marriage. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca.

The family wishes to thank Senior Gardens and Home Depot for constructing a garden plot for Ron in which now can be used by other disabled senior citizens.

Due to his love of gardening, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made in his memory, if desired, to Penn State Master Gardener Program, 2020 Beaver Ave., Suite 200, Monaca, PA. 15061 Tel. 724 774 3003.
