Kay S. Saunders, 74, of Center Township, passed away Tuesday morning, August 6, 2013, at home.

Born May 29, 1939, in Jefferson, Ohio, she was the only child of the late William and Anne Stetson. Kay had been a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church since she and her husband moved to Center Township in 1996. She loved her role as grandmother.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, George G. Saunders, whom she married in 1962; her son, Eric (Lisa) Saunders of Beavercreek, Ohio; her daughter, Dr. Cathy Saunders (Ted) Vana of Center Township and her six grandchildren, Angie, Joe, Nicholas and Adam Saunders and Bill and MaryAnn Vana.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3475 Brodhead Road, Center Township, where parting prayers will be offered Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 115 Trinity Drive, Center Township.

Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Monaca.
