Obituary for Myrna Eunice Krovchek (Bauer)

Myrna Eunice Krovchek, 90, of Center Township, passed away Wednesday morning, September 25, 2013, at Rochester Manor.

Born May 21, 1923, in Ambridge, she was a daughter of the late John Bauer and Hester Shane Bauer Baldwin. A resident of Center Township for 58 years, she was a member of Service United Presbyterian Church, Raccoon Township. Myrna was married for 71 years to William Miles Krovchek and together they spent most of their lives traveling the United States and Canada and enjoyed fishing. She had a special place in her heart for animals.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a half-brother, Charles Robert Baldwin of North Sewickley Township; a niece, Phyllis Dawn Namadan of Beaver and a great-niece, Leslie Hare and her husband, William, of Beaver and their family, Amelia and Donald.

Along with her parents Myrna was preceded in death by two sisters, June (Harry) Johnston and Jessie (Carl) Johnson.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. Her pastor, Reverend William W. Doyle, will officiate. Private interment will follow in John Anderson Memorial Cemetery.

Due to Myrna’s love and kindness to animals, contributions may be made, if desired, to Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 N. Brodhead Road, Monaca, PA 15061.
