Helen M. Ben of Monaca went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013.

Lovingly referred to as ‘Mama’, Helen is remembered as a devoted grandmother who faithfully attended her grandsons sporting events regardless of the conditions and could always be counted on when needed. She was an avid reader, enjoyed dining out and kept an immaculate home.

‘Mama’ leaves her daughter and son in law, Joyce and William R. Clear, Jr. of Rochester. Two grandsons: Jason Clear and Christopher (Judy) Clear. Five great grandchildren: Hailey, Chloe, Lukas, Nicholas and Travis. Her sister, Shirley (Larry) Golixer and several nephews and nieces

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (Hiber) Ben , a grandson, Chad E Clear and two sisters: Frances McGivern and Marie Rusko.

A memorial mass will celebrated at a later date.
