Theresa L. Krachinsky, 86, of North Sewickley Twp., went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, November 23, 2013.

Born April 11, 1927, in Monaca, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Philomena (Papa) Guantonio. Theresa was a graduate of Monaca High School, Class of 1945 and a retiree of Phoenix Glass Co., Monaca, where she was employed in the decorating department.

She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Beaver Falls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John G Krachinski on June 24, 2010.

She leaves a son, John Mickey Krachinski of North Sewickley Twp. One of eleven children, she also leaves a brother, Sam Pizzuti of Vanport and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received today, Nov. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724) 728-4000, where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. The Rev. Father Michael Ruffalo will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
