Gloria J. Sochor, 74 of Center Twp. passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Nov 26, 2013 at her home.
Born October 9, 1939 in Portage (Cambria Co.), PA., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Beverly (Fleck) Bendzak. When Gloria was 12 years old, her family relocated to Aliquippa and in 1958, she graduated from Aliquippa High School.
She and Andrew John Sochor (who survives) were united in marriage on July 17, 1965. They were blessed with two sons: Brian, currently living in Virginia and Bradley who passed away on May 12, 2002. Gloria had an infant brother who died at six months of age.
Gloria had worked the majority of her life, with employment with K-Mart, Kings Restaurant and lastly, Wal-Mart. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Center Twp. and enjoyed crafts.
A private family viewing was held Wednesday with private entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
