Terry G.  Herman
Terry G. Herman, 58, of Hopewell Township passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, in his home.

He was a son of the late Thomas and Marilyn Herman and a stepson of Peg Herman of Monaca.
Terry was a retired mechanic of U S Airways and was formerly employed by the Allegheny County Airport Authority.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie (Colonna) Herman and four children, Sean (Jennifer) Herman of Hopewell Township; Brian (Amy) Herman of Hopewell Township; Tiffany (Jeremy) Brewer of Raccoon Township and Torry Herman and his fiancée, (Robin Fink) of Center Township. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Isaac, Marah, Jakob, Abbie, Kyleigh, Abbigale, Layla and (expected newborn) Jackson. Three brothers, Ron (Becky) Herman of Warren, OH; Rick (Jayne) Herman of Monaca and Michael (Karen) Herman of Center Township. Also a stepsister, Kim (Ron) Krepps of Monaca and two stepbrothers, Lester (Sherry) Swartzwelder of Red Lion and Lee (Linda) Swartzwelder of Rochester; his mother-in-law, Patricia Colonna, and a sister-in-law, Lisa (Don) Moore, all of Raccoon Township.

Terry was a very loving man who loved his family and his dogs, whom he called ‘his boys’. He was an avid hunter, Harley rider, NASCAR and Steelers fan.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Doug Rabe, officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. Military honors will be provided by the Beaver County Special Unit on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the cemetery.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd., Monaca, PA. 15061.

Terry was a proud Marine and Vietnam veteran. We will miss him always, but we get comfort in the knowledge that he is now in the loving arms of his parents.
