Obituary for Raymond Steve Dvorchak

Raymond  Steve  Dvorchak
Raymond Stephen Dvorchak, 79 of Center Twp., a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Saturday, Jan 18, 2014.
He was born in Oliver, Pennsylvania in 1934.
Survived by Alla, his wife of 56 years; four children and their spouses, Gene and Deb Dvorchak, Greg and Kim Dvorchak, Lydia and Alex Nagy, Nadine and Dr. Nicholas Unis; eleven grandchildren and two sisters, Marlene Lipnicky and Rita Tornow.
Raymond served in the 82nd Airborne from 1954 to 1957. He worked as a furnace operator at St. Joe Zinc for over 30 years. He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan.
He loved all of his grandkids and whichever one he was with was his favorite. We all loved him and will miss him.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724) 728-4000, where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 am in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family c/o the funeral home or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
