Cristopher Aryn  Babinec
Cristopher Aryn Babinec, 39, of Aliquippa, formerly of Rochester, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014.

Born July 11, 1974, in New Brighton, he was a son of Richard C. and Ethel 'Squeaky' Babinec of Aliquippa. A 1991 graduate of Rochester High School, Cristopher was a member of the varsity football team and worked in construction. A passionate artist and mathematical 'wiz', he loved to watch sports and talk to his dad about the games for hours. Cristopher was baptized Baptist and a member of Sylvania Hills Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he leaves four children, Sara, Kirsten, Melody and Brayden; seven siblings, Richard II, Cachet and daughter Brittnee, Cara (Patrick) Lewis and children Adiayah and Eliyen, Casie, Cory (Tiffany) Babinec, currently serving in the U.S. Army at Ft. Campbell, KY, with the 101st Airborne, and children Hailey and Mason, Courtney (Allen) Hixson and children Karson and Karleigh, and Carime (Brian) Wilson and children Makaila and Ava Rayn and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, along with his wife, Stephanie.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and two cousins, Kari Greene and Matthew Fike.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Sylvania Hills Baptist Church, 567 Pittsburgh Road, Rochester. Pastor Michael Bailey of Sylvania Hills and Pastor Matthew Schwender of Bible Baptist Church in Latrobe, will officiate.
