Obituary for Sharon A, Davis (Hansen)

In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years –Abraham Lincoln
Sharon Davis, 62, of Patterson Township, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at home with her closest family surrounding her.
Sharon was born September 29, 1951, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Marguerite “Cork” (Cordes) Hansen.
She was a graduate of Rochester Area High School, class of 1969. She worked for many years caring for aged people with her consideration and thoughtfulness.
Sharon was the cherished wife and lifelong love of Gary Davis. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on September 23, 2013. It was inspiring to see a husband and wife still so much in love.
Sharon always found humor and joy in life and held tight to the memories of time spent with her grandchildren. She kept people on their toes with her quick-wit and sense of humor. Friends and family relish in the memories of many fantastic stories all beginning with “Remember when Sharon…”.
Throughout her last months, she was a courageous fighter; providing a stoic example of determination, pride and grace for all those around her. Now, she can rest in peace.
Sharon will be forever missed by her husband Gary, along with her three children; Joe Davis and his wife, Carla, of Archbold, OH, Tonia Davis Verrico, of Patterson Heights and Nichole Davis, of Moon Township.
