Sandra F. Varavette, 65, of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at Friendship Ridge. Born Feb 10, 1943, in Beaver, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Faye (McGee) Grove. Sandy had previously worked at the former Westinghouse Electric Co. plant in Beaver and was an avid Steelers fan

She leaves her husband of 42 years, Ronald J. Varavette; two children, Debbie Varavette of New Brighton (Oak Hill) and Bob Varavette and spouse, Susan of Rochester; three stepchildren; three grandchildren, Paige, Kenny and Joey and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim (Cheryl) Grove of Bridgewater; Pat (Susan) Grove of Toledo, OH, and Mike Grove of Monaca; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, 724-728-4000.
