Obituary for Dennis M. O'Brien
Dennis M. “D.O.” O’Brien, 67, of Moon Township, passed away Friday afternoon, April 17, 2009, in Kindred Hospital Beaver Valley.
Born October 6, 1941, in Nemacolin (Greene Co.), he was a son of the late Leo J. and Mildred V. (Hartley) O’Brien. He was a US Navy veterans and a US Airways retiree. Catholic by faith, Dennis was proud of his Irish heritage. An avid golfer he was a kind and gentle person with a terrific sense of humor.
He leaves three sisters, Mary G. Rizzo of Cheswick, Janet Gerken of Jeanette and Sarah M. Early of Glenshaw and two brothers, Leo R. O’Brien of San Diego, CA and Robert E. (Mary Ann) O’Brien of Crescent.
In addition to his parents Dennis was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Kotarsky.
In accordance with Dennis’ wishes, no public viewing was held. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
