Walburga Catherine O’Neill, 91 of Monaca, formerly of Center Twp. and Aliquippa, passed away Friday, Jan. 8 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
She was a graduate of Altoona Catholic High School (Bishop Guilfoille) and was a member of St Titus Roman Catholic Church.
She was born in Altoona on June 14, 1918 and was a daughter of the late William P. and Ann M. Neff, both of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, John A. O’Neill and is survived by five sons and two daughters: John W. and Marian O’Neill of Prospect, PA.; Joseph F. and Rosemary O’Neill of Center Twp.; Maureen and Dan Houlihan of Evans City; Larry O’Neill of Monaca; Greg and Lynne O’Neill of Columbus; Charles and Marjie O’Neill of Brighton Twp.; and Elaine O’Neill , a resident of the Allegheny Valley School.
She is survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Mike and Kelly O’Neill (Kendall and Riley); Katie and Carl Young (Hannah, Joey, Patrick and John); Jack and Gretchen O’Neill (Brooke, Gaille and Nolan); Megan, Erin, and Danny Houlihan; Andrew, Caroline and Sam O’Neill; Anne and Mike Hudson (Haley and William); Brian O’Neill; Edward and Kristen O’Neill (Quinn).
Friends will be received Monday, Jan 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 8:45 am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 9:30 am in St Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa.
Interment will follow in Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
