Robert F. "Bob"  Alberti
Robert F. ‘Bob’ Alberti, 72, of Monaca, passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness with his devoted wife and family by his side on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2011.

He was born in Rochester on May 26, 1938, to the late John and Maria (Rosepilar) Alberti.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Katheryn (Blinn) Alberti. He was a loving father to Amy Heinl of Hopewell Township, Patricia (Jim) Michele of Ambridge, Laura Alberti of Monaca and Kimberly (Kyle) King of Holland, PA. He was a cherished ‘Pappy’ to his grandchildren, Rachael Mansuetti, Robert Heinl, Melissa Michele, Samantha King and Connor King. Bob is also survived by his four brothers and one sister, John (Joanne) Alberti of Rochester, George (Nancy) Alberti of Brighton Township, Richard Alberti of Pittsburgh, Charles Alberti of Beaver and Mary Ann Guy of Monaca, as well as numerous nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary James Michele.

Bob was a graduate of Beaver High School and spent his entire professional career as parts manager for various Ford dealerships in Beaver County. He proudly retired from Morrow Motors of Beaver Falls. During his career he received numerous platinum, gold and silver national awards from Ford in recognition for being an outstanding parts manager.

Bob was an avid bowler and fisherman and loved stock car racing. He spent his early adulthood racing at many local tracks. He thoroughly enjoyed his later years sharing his racing wisdom and watching his dear friend, Darryl Robinson, race at Pittsburgh Motor Speedway. He was a past member of the Vanport Township Fire Department and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Monaca.

In accordance with his wishes, Bob requested that there be no viewing and that his remains be cremated. Family and friends will be received Saturday, May 28th, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of blessing service at 11:00 a.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services. His pastor, Rev. Fr. John L. McKenna, will officiate.

The family would life to extend its deepest appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Matthew Wright, Amanda Reed of Concordia Nursing Services and Marie Knapp of Mother Teresa Hospice for their compassionate care to Bob over the years.
